The party is over but the memory lingers on...

The 30th class reunion for the Class of 1971 was held on June 29-30th, 2001. It was a weekend to remember!

The following are some of the pictures from the 30th reunion and comments made by some who attended--

Just a quick thank you to all those who devoted many hours to making the reunion night one of the best nights of my life! From the check-in table-packets-slide show-speakers-music-
floor show-decorations-food and, most of all, all of the alumni that made the effort to attend and really enjoy themselves! I'm telling you, all those faces and hearing the voices again really touched my heart!... I am so proud of everyone!

Hi Kurt & Diane,
I just had to say thank you to the both of you for the great job you did in getting us together for the reunion.  I had a great time and your hospitality was much appreciated.  I cannot wait until the 35th but hope to see you both before then. Again,  thanks for everything and making me feel welcomed. Till we meet again, God bless,

Dear Iris,
It was so good seeing you again.  And I want to give you a very special thank you for all of your time and effort into making one hell of a party!!! Girlfriend!!!
It was the best time of my life!!! And thank you for sharing your beautiful daughter with all of us...you two brought the house down!!! I hope you saw my standing ovation!!! All I could think of was, "How proud Iris must be!"  I know I was!!! The tears were rolling. Oh, yeah, you and Greg were great, too!!! Honestly, I was hoping that something would be done in conjunction with our song!! Beautiful, just beautiful! So, you take care...and let your other committee members how much I appreciated "Our Weekend." I will be writing them as well...but later...I just woke up tossing and turning...it's about 5 AM  and I'm in Port Washington at my girlfriend's house and had to thank you and Marion personally for a truly magical weekend!!! Bye for now...
                                      Love and Kisses

DEAR PHYLLIS,

I HOPE THIS LETTER GETS TO YOU.  JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW WHAT A GREAT TIME I HAD AT THE 30 YR. REUNION.  AT THE TIME, I WAS GOING THROUGH CHEMO, AS YOU KNOW, AND THE REUNION WAS A HIGHLIGHT FOR ME AT THAT TIME. I HAD SO MUCH FUN AND I FELT NORMAL FOR THAT EVENING. SO MANY OF OUR CLASSMATES, WHICH BY THE WAY ARE THE BEST OF SOUTH, MADE ME FEEL GOOD, TOLD ME HOW GREAT I LOOKED EVEN WITH OUT HAIR. PEOPLE MAY NOT REMEMBER, BUT I DO. BOB DEMOLA WAS ONE OF OUR CLASSMATES THAT MADE ME FEEL GOOD. OF COURSE THERE WERE MANY GOOD WISHES AND ENCOURAGING THINGS SAID BY OTHERS. SO I’M WRITING TO LET YOU KNOW THAT ALL OF THE COMMITTEE’S HARD WORK MADE MY NIGHT SPECIAL AND GAVE ME MEMORIES TO LAST A LIFETIME. THANKYOU AGAIN AND LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT REUNION.

WITH LOVE AND APPRECIATION,

ROANNE MARCUS SELUZITSKY
